I own 22 acres but we are a small farm with this being our 3rd year so we only use about 5-8 acres currently but are expanding more and more this year. My chickens roam on my property free-ranging for about 5 of it.

We use our own compost from our waste, dead plants, etc. We also get horse manure that has been composted from our neighbors.

My neighbors horse farm but it is composted first. I do not use straight manure.

This is more of a sprinkle that we use compared to our "homemade" compost. Maybe a inch or less?

We have a problem with Japanese beetles and we hand pick them off and put them in soapy water. Other than that we do not have too many issues at this time.

I further affirm that I will not represent ANY livestock products as Certified Naturally Grown if they have not been raised according to the standards required by Certified Naturally Grown. Any livestock treated with antibiotics or other prohibited substances will be quarantined and sold separately. All livestock are fed feed grown according to CNG standards - without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, and free of any genetically modified grains (GMOs). *

My chickens are free range the majority of the time and get locked up every night. I have 2 coops currently.

It is Certified Organic and from Southern States or Tractor Supply. The feed brand sometimes varies depending what they have in-stock (due to COVID) but it is always Certified Organic.

I do not really have any issues with my chickens. For predators I have 3 German Shepherds who guard the property and keep predators away. Our coop is wrapped with small fencing wire and boards are nailed all along the bottom of it then covered with dirt and rocks on top so critters cannot try to dig underneath.

I have never had any disease problems but if I ever did I would treat them accordingly. For example if my chickens got mites I would treat them with diatomaceous earth. I always isolate new chickens before introducing them to the flock to try to minimize any diseases ever happening.

Please describe your buffer. Be specific. On all sides, how far is it from your livestock pasture to the next closest use (i.e. road, conventional crop, residential yard)? Specify what is grown on neighboring land in agricultural use. For example: To the north and east, a wooded area of at least 100 yards separates us from the neighbor's corn fields, to the south is a fallow field at least 100 yards deep separating us from a blueberry farm, and to the west about 60 feet separates our crops from a field where conventional corn and soybeans are grown. *
I do not have anyone near me that sprays pesticides on farm land. I am secluded on 22 acres without any farmers on either side of me.
