Fat Cat Farm

After teaching music for 15 years I got into gardening and, looking for a change, moved to the Willamette Valley with my wife in 2016 to try farming. I was lucky to get a job at one of the best farms in Oregon and worked there for three years learning tons and meeting some amazing people. In 2018 I started a small, 1/4 acre farm with a friend and sold at the corner of Jefferson and 19th in Eugene. After moving to Dexter I managed a local farm's vegetable production and started a small CSA which gave me the confidence to finally embark on my own and start Fat Cat Farm. For the last year I have been working on improving the infrastructure and soil on our property to get ready for the 2020 season...building a greenhouse, a walk in cooler, sowing cover crops and so much more!

For the 2020 season we are offering a small box CSA with an online store and home deliveries. We are also selling our produce at A&M Family Farms Farmstand in Pleasant Hill on Saturdays and our own farmstand in Eugene (19th and Jefferson) on Fridays.



I believe that transparency is important in agriculture and being Certified Naturally Grown is a crucial step to show that my farm grows its fruits and vegetables in a way that is healthy for you, the soil and the world.
