- We have a CNG produce farm and have been raising our hens entirely by CNG standards. We have to reassure the public that we aren't only producing vegetables but also eggs by your standards.

Livestock Management and Practices

All livestock are fed feed grown according to CNG standards - without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, and free of any genetically modified grains (GMOs). *

- We have had flies in the summer. We suspended a bag of liquid organic, non toxic fly trap. We have had hawk issues in the past. We have two big watch dogs now that guard them. We had one incident with a wild cat or coyote. the dogs helped with that as well.

You MUST indicate either actual disease challenges and/or LIKELY challenges, and you must ALSO indicate how you manage (or would manage) them. - We have not had any diseases. We have had them peck eachother and needed to use blucote on their tails to deter them from pecking. One time one of the hens had a weepy and puffy eye. we made a highly diluted apple cider vinegar and distilled water solution eye drop and it went away.

- we have recently added to our flock and when doing so we built a new brooder and caterpillar tunnel for the chickens to live in until they were old enough to integrate into the larger, older flock.
