Rosy Goat Farm

Gilbertville, Massachusetts

I, Trisha, am the main farmer, along with my husband Bill, I grew up on a small farm in Ireland, worked on a dairy farm, then moved to the States when I was 22. I worked in the city, growing tomatoes and herbs on a balcony, but when I married and had children, I wanted to provide more, we moved out of the city to a town, raised a garden and kept chickens. We searched for a farm and found this farm in 2012 that had lain fallow for years and was terribly overgrown. So, of course i needed goats and more chickens, and then pigs, and here we are today, myself and husband and two daughters working on the farm! We provide food that any mother would love to feed her family with!

We wanted to offer our new farm customers proof that we farm using natural and organic practices, most of our customers to date have been family and friends, and they have seen our animals out in the fields happily rooting and scratching and browsing every day, and see that I weed the gardens and see the organic practices up close and personal. But online photos and videos could be deceiving- you can only see so much, and so I feel this certification is genuine proof that we practice what we say we do, and, CNG is more affordable for a small farm.
