Stephen and Krista are the owners and opperators of New Roots. They are in good health spiritually, physically, and mentally. They are environmentalists, gardeners, explorers, and artists excited about life and the work that they do together. Stephen and Krista are grounded and driven to achieve the goals they have set for themselves. Their relationships with others and the land is important to them. The land where New Roots resides, is fertile and full of life. The river and lush forest that surrounds the garden is peaceful and uplifting. The ecosystems with which the growers engage, are in balance and flourishing. Their water sources are free of harmful pollutants.
They want to share this love with you!
Stephen and Krista wish to share this dream through managing a CSA (community supported agriculture.) As well as sell their fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers at farmers markets and a few restaurants/caterers, staying small, personal and local.
Why Certified Naturally Grown?
We thrive and commit to be Certified Naturally Grown because we believe that the food we eat is the core to our well-being. All of us deserve to know where our food comes from and how it is grown. That is why we are so excited to be a part of this grassroots organization. When we support local, natural growers; we are supporting our community and preserving the beauty and gifts that Mother Nature provides us with. Not to mention, we are supporting not just a small farm but a real, small family. A family who is devoted to feeding their community and protecting their planet.
