We have been certified organic for 20 years but feel that government and big business have come to dominate the system. We feel Certified Naturally Grown more accurately represents our values in that it is a grass roots movement that maintains the organic standards of growing with peer reviewed inspections and is based on honesty and transparency.

For example: To the north and east, a wooded area of at least 100 yards separates us from the neighbor's corn fields, to the south is a fallow field at least 100 yards deep separating us from a blueberry farm, and to the west about 60 feet separates our crops from a field where conventional corn and soybeans are grown. *
-we have no pressure from other farmers using chemicals -all fields have woodlands to seperate or at minimum 60 feet to another farmer's field (no chemicals used there)
