Inverlea farm

Tiverton, Ontario

The Peebles, Linda and Doug, and our youngest son Richard, own and operate Inverlea Farm. This is a 100 acre nature preserve and grass fed cattle farm, situated on the ridge overlooking Lake Huron in Southern Bruce County, Ontario, Canada.

We have a small herd of purebred Murray Grey Cattle, a smaller framed, docile and efficient grass to beef converting breed. We have just purchased a purebred Lowline Angus bull, Arthur, from Dalrae Acres, Bowmanville Ontario, to maintain and improve the smaller, more customer friendly, tender, flavorful and healthy cuts of grass finished beef.

We are committed to maintaining and improving the natural environment of our property. We have fenced the back 30 acres to prevent livestock access, and to protect and improve the Little Sauble River, which flows right across our farm, on its way to Lake Huron, inside the boundary of Inverhuron Provincial Park.
We have been following the Canadian Organic Standard, and are now committed to also following the USDA National Organic Regulation and the more restrictive Certified Naturally Grown Standards.

Certified Naturally Grown provides our customers with an independent assurance of the quality and integrity of our grass finished beef, lamb and chickens.
