Asbury Village Farm

Asbury, New Jersey

Asbury Village Farm as it exists was started in 1994. The current farmers moved in in December of 2010 and are the first full-time farmers we have had. Our mission is to feed our community in a way that conforms to our agricultural and business ethics. We are not at war with nature, and as such we use no pesticides or herbicides, OMRI approved or not, anywhere on our farm. We instead concentrate on building healthy soil to grow disease and insect resistant plants. We know that healthy fresh food can be affordable and strive to keep our membership prices affordable to anyone. We don't charge what we can, but what we need to. We grow all produce for the CSA on our farm, buying nothing in from other farms or stores. We have no work requirement, but have a great work share program for those who want to get dirty.
