Please describe your buffer. Be as specific as possible. On all sides, how far is it from your crops to the next closest use (road, conventional crop, residential yard)? For example: To the north and east, a wooded area of at least 100 yards separates us from the neighbor's corn fields, to the south is a fallow field at least 100 yards deep separating us from the road, and to the west about 60 feet separates our crops from a field where conventional corn and soybeans are grown. *
I have a corner 1.3 acre lot in the City of Atlanta. To the north is street. Fence at 9 feet from curb and crops 2 feet from inside of fence. I maintain the grass between the street and fence. To the East is an 18 foot right of way that is grassed and mowed periodically by myself. Crops production begins 40 feet from east property border. South of the property is a large creek (8 ft from bank to bank) then a a wooded area (still my property) beyond which is 14 acres of woods belonging to the City of Atlanta. South west portion of the property is a neighbor's house. Grassed is mowed. East side of the farm is the street, 9 ft grasses walkway and tree line, farm fence , interior 8 ft walkway then farm crops. There are not other farm crops grown in the area.

Agreements

Please indicate your agreement with the following statements by checking the boxes.
I will not label, or in any way lead consumers to believe that produce not raised in accord with CNG standards is Certified Naturally GrownTM. *
I understand that I have to complete at least one (and hopefully more) Certification Inspection(s) of another farm in my area each year, and that the inspection will NOT be of the same farmer that inspected me. *
I have reviewed the Certified Naturally Grown certification standards, I understand them, and I will abide by them. I understand that if I have any questions I may contact CNG for clarification. *
You may use this space to tell us anything else you think we should know about your farm:
Land use history. I have owned and managed the property since August of 2016. It was only mowed in that fine period. I began farming activities February of 2018. Previous to my ownership, it was privately owned and only mowed monthly or twice per month. The site has never been developed. The intermittent creek that runs through the property was maintained by the city of Atlanta watershed department. They used a weed wackers to keep the overgrowth down.
